A few days ago, Katie was carrying a stuffed puppy that says things when you squeeze different parts of it. It suddenly burst out with a sincere, "I love you!" Without missing a beat, Katie answered back matter-of-fact, "I know."
A few weeks ago, her grandpa asked, "How come you're so cute, Katie?" She looked him in the eye and said, "Because I have such pretty hair," and went back to playing.

Isn't it amazing how self-confident our children are so young? It always made me giggle when my kids said something like that to me...unfortunately, the world can be not so kind to their ego so I am thrilled to hear them so secure in who they are. :D
Too cute! I noticed that you commented on my blog but when I clicked on you, your blog didn't come up. :( But, I have it now. so fun to catch up. it looks so nice and pretty there..I still have frost in the morning. :(
