It's a BOY thing. At least with my boys. It lasted through the 6-year-old phase, and the 7, 9, 11 year old phases...
My oldest is 21 and on a mission, and the most recent pic of him still has him acting silly!
I say, might as well get used to it and enjoy the way he loves life! And resign yourself to the way he is thrilled about teasing his mother who wants decent pics of him...
