Lily's Blessing

These are the only posed shots I got from Lily's blessing day, which is a testament to the fact that Lily is the fourth child. In the past I've always made sure to get a shot of our babies with Adam (who has blessed them), and one of all the men in the circle. But once you get this far, you are mostly just trying to get everything done that needs to get done. I'm lucky I have any pictures at all!

Adam gave Lily a beautiful blessing, and we were really blessed to have so much family around. Adam's dad, David, came and stayed with us, which was so special. When he first came Katie and Max weren't even sure who he was, but by the time he left they were climbing all over him and sad to see Grandpa go.

She looked beautiful! Baby blessings can be SO much work. That's why I wait till my babies are a couple months old before taking it on.
The picture of Lily is so perfect! So fun! I know what you mean about the posed pics and the fourth kid thing. Poor Breck doesn't have anything in his baby book filled out, or anything recorded anywhere! I'm planning on making things up just so he's happy later in life. Shhh! Don't tell him!
