Girls' Night

Tonight Adam is taking Isaiah on a Fathers and Sons campout. And while they are gone, Katie and I are having a girls' night! We're going out to dinner with a bunch of other moms and girls. And as we were getting ready to go, I realized at 20 months, Katie has never had her nails painted. Maybe that sort of thing is normal, she is pretty young, but I was feeling badly that I have never initiated her in the girly ritual of making your nails an unnatural color to make you feel prettier. And so, today, I did. We have matching sparkly pink toenails. And now we're going to go out and enjoy a night with a bunch of girls, who, no doubt, will all admire our pink sparkles.
