It's a boy!!

This is Adam filling in for Rachel....

Well, the time has *finally* come! Max was born at 9:22PM, weighed 7 lbs 9 ozs, and was 19.5" long. He also has 10 fingers, 10 toes, one flat forehead, a red face, and very bent ears. :)

Here are a couple pictures of him when he was just a few seconds old... better pictures are sure to come later (we hope).

Congrats to the entire family!

Max has great timing - coming on his own and not needing to be induced, but waiting until after your Primary program. All right, Max!

Aww! Cute! One thing though...don't you hate those little hats they put on the babies? I think they are horrid! My little niece got one and her parents keep it on her most of the time. It is nice because most "newborn" hats don't fit newborns, but that is the only reason! They are awful otherwise.
Congratulations! He is adorable!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. It made me feel good. Then I noticed *when* you posted it - less than 24 hours after giving birth! I seriously appreciate the acknowledgement - but you're making some of us look bad! lol

What wonderful pictures of Max's first moments. You look great!

Michelle, what am I supposed to do while I sit for hours and rest?! Keep in mind that besides changing diapers and nursing (and sometimes while nursing) sitting at the computer--or laying with the laptop in my lap--is about all I'm doing. Maybe if we had TV I would be watching hours of Oprah. But I actually have more internet time right now than usual because I'm just sitting around resting. ;)

True, Rachel. If I had a laptop, I'd do the same while recovering and nursing!
